PHOTO CONTEST

We need your help to finish the redesign of this book site.

Send in your photos!

We need pictures of people reading TAKING YOUR TALENT TO THE WEB. Read it on the mountaintops. Read it in the tub. Read it while sky diving. Take a digital snapshot of same, and send it to us. Winners will be used throughout this site.

2 to 1 aspect ratio. Pretty darned simple.

FUNCTIONAL SPEC

  1. Per above image, photos must be 2:1 aspect ratio. 400 x 200 px minimum; larger sizes preferred.
  2. Grayscale or full color.
  3. High quality JPEG or flattened, borderless Photoshop file (JPEG preferred).
  4. If you wish, feel free to subtly improve the photo’s contrast, levels, sharpness, etc., but don’t go crazy with “artistic” effects, because we can’t use them. We need real pictures of real people.
  5. This might be kind of obvious, but you’ll actually need a copy of the book.
Send in your photo.

FINE PRINT

No cash, no prizes. Contest ends when we tire of it. If many excellent photos are received, they will be rotated. New Riders, the publisher of TAKING YOUR TALENT TO THE WEB, is not associated with this little contest, though they probably hope it will boost sales.

Submitted photos cannot be returned. Contestants are responsible for accuracy of names, addresses, and URLs. Not responsible for lost mails, contestant misrepresentations, or accident, death or dismemberment resulting from skydiving while reading TAKING YOUR TALENT TO THE WEB.
