Real Publishers Ship
Yippee! Jeremy Keith’s HTML5 For Web Designers (A Book Apart, 2010) ships Friday.
In this brilliant and entertaining user’s guide, Jeremy Keith tells web designers what they need to know about the web’s new markup language—and the first version of HTML designed for a web of applications, not just documents.

I pre-ordered the book, and have been fairly excited to finally have a succinct tome in which to download some practical HTML5 knowledge directly into my brain. But I have to say… seeing that gorgeous stack of books in the photo has made me a bit ecstatic. Now, I can’t wait to get my copy! Kudos to all involved.
Looks like they turned out nicely! Congrats for shipping the first of (hopefully) many A Book Apart publications!
That’s a sexy lookin’ book right there! Excited to get mine.
There’s just something about having physical paper for technical books that the e-book can’t replicate. Congratulations on shipping!
Those look freaking amazing! Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.
I first heard about Jeremy on the The Big Web Show podcast (http://5by5.tv/bigwebshow/2). He was clear and succinct with his explanations related to HTML 5. Congratulations and I look forward to reading the book.
Very excited for mine to arrive. I pre-ordered as soon as I read about the book. :-)
Those look great – I am looking forward to reading it.
That no. 1 on the cover makes me wanna pre-order no. 2. Long way ahead of my copy, so fingers crossed everyone—please! ;-)
