Not at our desk

Apologies for the quiet, here. We’ve been enjoying family time in San Francisco, leading up to the final Event Apart show of the year in the beautiful Palace Hotel.

    Isn’t the correct term “apartisans”?

welcome to SF! Looks like you’re already having a great time!

Wish I could make it to An Event Apart but my bank account says otherwise. Maybe next year :)

Have fun, and knock it out of the park Jeff. Who do I have to bribe to get an AEA to come to DC… or better yet Vegas!

Can’t think of a better place to do it. Don’t pass by Boudin’s without picking up some sourdough, and your kids would probably like the fortune cookie “factory” (two people working two cookie machines) in Chinatown. If you and the wife want a night out, NOTHING beats Teatro ZinZanni. [/tourbook] Cheers!

Well, the event was a great success! Really great lineup of speakers. I can’t thank you guys enough for putting this whole thing together.

I did a write-up on my impressions in case anyone is feeling vicarious: An Event Apart San Francisco 2007

Nice write-up, interesting perspectives. Thanks for sharing it, Brandon, and thanks for making An Event Apart your first web design conference. :)

What an amazing event it was! I actually hadn’t done too much advance research on the conference, but I found it very, very worthwhile. Each of the presentations were helpful and entertaining, and both of the end-of-the-day talks were extremely well done (I have to say, Mr. Zeldman, I didn’t think it would be possible to match Jared’s phenomenal day one closing act, but you pulled it off on day two with considerable aplomb).

Many thanks the highly enjoyable event. With any luck, I’ll be attending another AEA next year and seeing you all soon! :)

That’s funny! I was in SF too from Oct 3 to 5th for ACCSCT award thing. I was like top graduate student of 2007 from http://www.fullsail.com and I stayed at Sir Francis Drake Hotel, such a nice place too!

Ate many different great foods such as Daily Grill, Lu Lu, World’s famous little pancake, and so much more. Congrats on yours too.

Nice meeting you at the conference, Jeffrey. Your two presentations were excellent. I hope to make another event next year.
