If there are font-identification tools today, there ought to be big data crunching designer identification tools tomorrow. Would that not be sweet?

oh dear. and it’s only just launched…

JK’s friend down the street has a 13yr old nephew who is just a genius with the computer stuff. And he did it for $20.

    Pirata. Google them. They’re good.

The site says Sony. We’re lucky it doesn’t give hackers our credit card numbers. Or maybe it does…

No, that’s normal, there’s a spell on it to stop muggles viewing the actual site.

Harry Potter internet holdings have always been stuck in the realm of crap and ornament. I like Daniel’s idea of anti-Muggle charms.

My buddies in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, an agency called TH_NK seem to be claiming credit for doing this. Sony may be the prime contractor, the guys at TH_NK are primarily designers / tag manglers. So much effort seems to go unrecognised especially these days where work is sub or even sub-sub contracted. I always say give credit where credit is due.

A little bit harsh – the demand on this site would have be overwhelmingly massive when it launched – maybe one of the most hit website launches ever. All working now :)

An agency in the UK called Think built it.

Doubt it was Pirata, compare it to some of the other sites they’ve built from their website

I used to be a fellow TH_NKer, so I’m sure they’ll get this fixed for all the muggles out there — well spotted though!! Agree with @Rob_Kirten as there’ll have been an enormous amount of work involved from the design team, so they deserve credit for this, though I expect Sony will continue to get much of the glory.

I think Jon B was probably spot on, that’s what happens when half the world are hitting F5…
