eMusic.com Facebook is doing it wrong.

eMUSIC.COM IS TRYING to insert a Facebook “Like” button bearing my picture on artist profile pages I view when signed in to my account. Unfortunately, their iframes and CSS work together like fish and bicycles. The result is an ugly, unusable fragment of a Like button, with useless browser chrome and other bits of nonsense.

Facebook is loading that markup via JS /
We agree, that looks awful. (also, big fans of yours!)

    Thanks, Scott!

And here was the cause of the problem:

Has emusic.com actually done anything wrong besides plugging into a buggy fb script?

Jody is right, Emusic isn’t doing anything wrong, it’s Facebook that’s messed up. It’s weird that they allow you to log into a fan page and like other pages while you’re on their site, but if you stay logged into your fan page and go to other website, Like buttons and boxes break spectacularly like this. Why can’t I just like this Emusic page on my fan page?

So what do you say about changing that headline?

    Thanks,

Scott was right. Jody was right. I was right (after I was wrong). Headline changed.

Haha, how come? Unless Facebook is down, if you use their default scripts, it should work like a charm!
