Hi, I am new on your blog, and the only reason I subscribed to it is to try to learn more about online designing and online behavior :)

I don’t want to sound ignorant but I would like to know what’s a Slab. Is it a new type of font?

It means slab serif, a style of type also known as “Egyptian.” Clarendon, used in the masthead of this site (i.e. the font used for “zeldman.com”), is a slab serif.

    Read more at Linotype.

    Slab serifs at Typedia.
