I wonder why they didn't just dilute xhtml2 with a little html5 practicality the way that JavaScript 2 softened into EcmaScript Harmony? I was expecting a compromise, not a duel. If you follow the rule of threes, we should be expecting a CSS bloodbath soon. I think think I'll take shelter in XML/XSLT until this all blows over. Browser sniffing is making a comeback!
