   Great interview. It’s always great to hear that you failed before you found what you are really good at and the ways you’ve kept what you are good at, and it is so clear you enjoy what you do. That is very encouraging stuff!

   Yeah this was fun to do, and is getting a huge response.

   As far as Lewis’s comment the show was a shorter format than usual for me … and I was a bit nervous trying to interview a friend as a “professional” would. I did try to get him to wrap up his answers sometimes in the interest of getting as much as possible into the hour (again if I was a professional radio person I’d know how to do that with more savvy). I think (I’m sure Jeffrey gets this) it will be easier for me to interview people I don’t very well or at all. I may have made the mistake of trying to steer things too much in the direction of the general listener, too.

   I’m an excitable boy, what can I say. And Jeff excites me LOL.

   What Lewis said. Enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the current state of standards and some great insights, but apart from his train track analogy Fred just, like, irritated me, like, the whole way through?
