Life Needs a Rewind Button

The new office is so new to me that I entered the address incorrectly while ordering CS3 suites for the studio. Amazon is consequently rush-delivering Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro, and Fireworks to the wrong address, and it’s too late to change the address on the order. Someone in Harlem is going to be very happy.

Ooof. That’s the only word that makes sense to say.

ouch. that sucks. Who is shipping it? UPS? I wonder if they can divert the package. Or, maybe there is a chance that the person wont be home because I am pretty sure that amount shipped via amazon requires a signature. If its not delivered the first day, you should be able to send it to another address with no issues… good luck.

After having InDesign CS3 crash on me time after time after time after time this afternoon, I’d have to agree with Thijs van der Vossen… That aside, I upgraded from CS, and I really miss being able to dock palettes vertically on both screens.

Hmm… might be worth my while to go hang out in Harlem for a minute or two ;)

I own a UPS Store (among other things) and yes (as Brian Artka mentioned above) UPS does have a service called Package Intercept. If it was in fact shipped via UPS, you the customer should be able to call UPS and get the address changed.

Let me know if you need any help.

You sure you didn’t send it to Cincinnati by accident? That’d be sweeeeet….

Jeffrey, have you already buy it again?
I’m pretty sure you could get your first buy back at half-price (from its new owners of course) =P

I bought CS3 suites for my staff in November using Adobe.com’s web store. The suites were never shipped. The order disappeared from the store.

I tried again in December. Same deal. Order disappeared; my credit card was not billed; software was not shipped.

    Two strikes, you’re out.

I don’t know why Adobe’s web store didn’t retain my order and wouldn’t allow me to purchase Adobe’s product.

I was miffed, too, because I intended to buy during fiscal 2007 (for tax deduction purposes) but the double failure of Adobe’s store to deliver product prevented this.

    So. That’s why.

    Store works for you? Delighted.
