Thanks for your part in a great conference. The lineup was stellar and the accommodations were wonderful. I will definitely be attending AEA events in the future.

Jeffery, the AEA New Orleans event was by far the best conference that I have been to. I learned a lot from all the great sessions that were there and also was able to do a lot a great networking with in the industry with not only other people attending the conference but the speakers as well.

I look forward to next year. I would recommend this conference to anybody that can get there. It was the best!

Jeffrey, this has been my second AEA (first being Boston). After New Orleans, I don’t think I’ll be able to get myself to attend any other conference. Not only did I learn a lot, but I met some really great people. The presenters did a fantastic job and were enthusiastic and engaging. I am looking forward to the next one.

Great experience! Thanks so much for coming to New Orleans. I look forward to attending more of these in the future. Rare to find such a great combination of technical and creative inspiration in one place.

AEA New Orleans was my first conference and I didn't really know what to expect. I appreciated that all of the presenters and organizers were very friendly and open to mingling with the attendees and answering our questions. In a way, I expected you all to be a bit more elitist, but that wasn't the case at all. Overall, I had a wonderful time and even learned a few things. ;) Totally worth the money (and I'd have said the same thing even if I had paid for it myself.)

Thanks to everyone for their time and effort setting everything up and preparing their presentations.

I enjoyed my first trip to AEA. I didn't have a boss to pay for my ticket, but I do appreciate the education discount. Being a grad student, I felt a little out of place, but I suppose we were all students for those two days.

I wanted to comment on the story about the lady in the "motorized cart" when you were talking accessibility. I use a wheelchair. This very incident has happened to me before. Sometimes it's even worse. Like I went down this really long sidewalk, only to find out it stopped at a curb with no ramp. It seems like the person building the sidewalk, or the person painting the crosswalk, would see this.

I was just impressed that you noticed, since most people don't. Anyway, AEA was very helpful. I will come back if and when I get a job and money!

Jeffrey,

It was a wonderful conference! I liked the more "interactive" presentations where the presenters would either get direct audience participation or if the participation was more "mental" with the presenter asking thought-provoking questions. The ones that were more cut and dry in their presenting (with only questions at the end) could sometimes become a bit too dry for my tastes. But overall it was great! Good location too. I look forward to attending other Events Apart in the future.
