Ah thank god for the internet, the amount of programmes dedicated to design on the internet or even just the internet on our broadcast services is very thin on the ground here in Blighty.

Now I believe that’s 19.00 my time but really not sure when it come’s to Daylight Savings Time.

Great! I’ll listen from work and tell my brother about it too.

Also, I bought your card on Packrat(a facebook app) the other day. I saw it and thought, “that looks like Zeldman”, and sure enough when I bought it, it said, “you just purchased Jeffrey Zeldman”. Very funny indeed.

Well first off, congratulations on being selected as a guest on Talk Radio Today, Jeff.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to stay up to listen to it and possibly call in, as I’ve been up all night and am waiting on “The Web Design Business Kit” to arrive from SitePoint some time later today, but I’ll see what I can do as far as making an exception for you.

If I can’t force myself to stay up long enough, then I guess I’ll have to settle for wishing you luck and all the best with the program today.

Hmmm I thought 3PM Eastern was 2PM Central, but I guess I was wrong. I will listen to the archive once they get the stream functionality working.

    Great show Jeffrey!

I love that you know so much about our line of work and mix it with your creative personality. Keep it up!

I was a little disappointed. It seemed like whenever something was going to get going it was interrupted by either commercial break or a call in. An hour isn’t a long time and with the long intro she gave I felt a little short changed. But then again it is a free listen.

    @Jeff:

I loved Debbie’s intro (she’s a great writer) and I’m delighted that she has asked me back to do a second interview. Few interviewers, in my experience, do the research. Debbie Millman is an exception. I really felt that I was talking to someone who knew a lot about my professional obsessions. To me it made for a relaxed conversation. I agree that the hour flew by.

    Professional obsessions, indeed.

Bah! I missed the show and now I can’t find it anywhere. Jeffrey, the link you give just has some 2005 and 2006 stuff on the page – do you know of a working link to your interview?

I can’t find the show on iTunes or anywhere else. What is up with that?

  13. Jeffrey Zeldman said on

Mark and Justin: As you point out, the Archived Shows page has not been updated since Season 4. Some recent content, but only some, appears on the iTunes page. I’ll try to find out what’s up with that, and when the show will be available. Thanks!

All of the Design Matters shows are available at http://www.modavox.com/voiceamericacms/WebModules/HostModaview.aspx?HostId=59&ChannelId=2&Flag=1. However, the Zeldman interview is not currently available. Debbie Millman said once that some of the listed interviews were withheld due to poor sound quality (this affected the earliest shows), so I fear the worst.

    Thanks, cicada.

    Good golly, that interface!

Speak up!
