Hog butcher

A car is coming.

It will take me to a building.

In the building I will enter a ramp.

The ramp will take me to a jet.

The jet will take me to Chicago for two days of web standards, best practices, and creative inspiration.

An Event Apart Chicago 2007, here I come.

See you there. Should be a very interesting, entertaining, educational, inspiring event. Oh. and I better see Mr Eric Meyer do his “rock!” sign and yell. LOL

    event will rock.

    friends will be made.

    meat will be eaten.

    a car will come again.

it will take you to a building.

in that building you will head to a ramp.

a woman in the building will tell you, sky go boom.

she will point you to a cot

you will wait there until they allow the ramp to take you to a jet.

the jet will sit on tarmac.

the people inside will begin to whimper and cry.

finally it will take you home.

Of course I hope this is not the case, because it could happen to me too.
Lets hope it’s all cleared up by then.

    See you there! Heh.

Glad to see you made it safe and sound, Jeff. Especially considering the insane weather we had here late last week. It literally went from nice and sunny to darker than the deepest pits of Hell inside of 30 minutes here in Aurora (even had reports of a tornado touching down just west of here, but I haven’t been able to confirm it), then the wind started blowing like you wouldn’t believe.

Fortunately it’s supposed to be dry until at least Wednesday, and even then we’re expecting some isolated thunderstorms, nothing like what we had last week. So take care, enjoy yourself, and seeing as how you’re in Chicago, root for my Cubs and Bears, will you? :)
