Happy Cog Philadelphia is Hiring
Fresh on the Job Board:
Happy Cog Philadelphia is looking for an experienced freelance front-end (presentation layer) developer with strong design sensibilities. You must live and breathe semantic XHTML and CSS and understand how design and layout decisions manifest themselves in the world of markup. It helps if you’ve worked with Content Management Systems like EllisLab’s ExpressionEngine and can integrate templates within this environment. You must be in the Philadelphia area and be able to work with us on site. Details are available on the Job Board posting.

[...] And yet, many companies are reluctant to allow their employees work from home on a regular or semi-regular basis. I was quite surprised to see a job posting for Happy Cog, headed by Jeffrey Zeldman, require the person to be able to work on-site. [...]
If there was ever a reason to move to philly……
besides the sandwiches of course.
Halifax is kinda close to Philadelphia, if you’re looking at a globe. Same continent. Is that close enough?
What I want to know is, when are you opening the Chicago office. ; )
You are getting sleepy. Your eyelids are heavy. Are you relaxed? Good.
…….You need an Austin office. You need an Austin staff…….
Ok, wake up now! Don’t you feel refreshed? :)
Too bad I live in France. Any chance you’ll open an office here ? Hehe.
“Happy Cog Chicago.” What beauty! Assonance and alliteration! The Cog in The City That Works! I must agree with Ms. Firke here. Even bet you’re negotiating Grid partitions with Coudal as I type.
[...] 28th, 2007 · No Comments I’ve never seen a better workrelated reason to leave Norway. My dreamworkplace has aposition up for grabs, but it ain’t gonna be for me. Instead of putting a list of crappy excuses, I’ll say that it’s to do with my current geographic location to these: [...]

che… Philly? Wait, that’s not in Norway. Unless – I zoom out really far on GoogleEarth. Yes. Check!
[...] Agreed. We’re hiring, too, and I’d actually say that, for us, the portfolio probably holds a little less weight during the interview. Sure, it gets you in the door, but the other stuff is really what carries you through. Like you said, the “team fit” one is big. If you can’t work like you play, how are you going to love what you do? [...]
