If you're planning to attend, we've just posted some suggested hotels, including two nice ones right on the waterfront, from which you can walk to the conference center.

Ok ! , all i see on your blog is AEA tickets available , AEA tickets sold, AEA dinner, some of us cant attend that ! and we feel unprivileged , if you want to post such stuff you should also start a random selection of one of your visitors with a fully sponsored visit to anEventApart from any place around the globe ! :)

We are in fact quietly helping some folks attend each show who otherwise couldn't. Flying people around the globe won't ever happen, though.

We need some events like this in the UK. Whens the next one this side of the pond?

Not this year. Quite possibly next year; thanks very much for your interest. We established the conference last year and will spend this year growing it bigger while maintaining or increasing quality. If all goes well, next year we can look at taking it off the continental US.

Honestly, Randy, not that we’ve seen. It gets mentioned every now and again, but it didn’t score high on interest surveys we did a couple of years ago, and in talking to other conference organizers, they haven’t seen much interest coming out of that area either. We’re certainly willing to be shown otherwise, of course!
