An Event Apart Austin

Though Seattle has sold out, we’re pleased to announce our next Event Apart. Come join Jason Santa Maria, Eric Meyer, your humble narrator and a mystery guest for a Texas-sized day of design and code in Austin, TX.

Alamo Drafthouse Downtown

Alamo Drafthouse

We love movies, and the Alamo Drafthouse might just be the best place in the world to see them. It’s also a great place for an event. The seats are comfy, the sightlines clear, the screen sizeable, and the food wonderful. All this and free Wi-Fi, too!

Register early to save $50!

Registration is open now, and you can save $50 off the cost of attending An Event Apart Austin if you register by October 6th, 2006. There are a limited number of seats, so don’t wait too long to claim your stake!

    Jeremy,

With the very geatest respect, why are you no longer saying anything important? It’s all ‘conference this’, ‘gathering that’, ‘my latest commercial sleep-in’, etc..

Delete / dismiss as necessary. :)

    Bp.

[...] Yup, An Event Apart is coming to Austin. It’s actually coming to the Alamo Draft House downtown location (which is a stone’s throw from one of our client’s offices). If it weren’t for the $500 registration fee (for one day?) I’d be in. I do have to say that it’s nice for these gents to grace our beloved city — with the number of events and tech stars we are attracting these days, Austin is on the hot list for sure… [...]

Its things like this that make we want to live in America. You should come to Britain sometime! (There is absolutely nothing special or unusual, but still, it could turn An Event Apart into an international event? ;) )

Oh well, my useless attempt to convince ya may have failed, but it was worth trying! Hope you enjoyed your holiday! (Without email??? Yikes! =0 )

    Hey, BP,

“The very geatest respect” usually requires that you at least use the correct first name of the person you’re addressing.
